Sarah is well versed in a variety of mediums and has
had many of her cards and multi/mixed media pieces published in nationally circulated
publications. She takes great interest in helping companies
improve and create innovative and fresh displays and samples that
highlight their products to potential wholesale and retail
customers. Because she teaches in a variety of venues, she offers an
unique perspective and insider insight to her clients that those who
are out of touch with the consumer simply cannot give. If you own a
company involved in the hobby industry and are interested in Sarah's
professional artistic talent, please note the following
guidelines:
Designed for Ranger's A-Z Designer
Challenge
Because we want to have a solid relationship from the beginning,
all agreements must be in writing and approved by both
parties.
All stamps, supplies, and products that are given to complete the
agreed upon work are tools that will remain in the artist's
possession. This means Sarah gets to keep them as her own working
tools.
Prior to beginning any work, Sarah will give a good faith
estimate to the company representative or individual regarding the
works completion date and cost breakdown.
A specific and detailed letter of understanding outlining the
scope of the project, the time frame for completion, and the
compensation for the stated project must be signed by both
parties BEFORE work is to begin.
In order to purchase necessary supplies for the initial designing
phase of the project, 45% of the stated good faith estimate given by
Sarah is to be paid to her directly before the project is
started. This is non-refundable once project has commenced. The
purpose of this money is to purchase the necessary tools and
supplies specifically for your project and cannot be refunded once
the project is underway. Rates range from $25 to $125 dollars per
hour depending on the work to be done and the purpose for which it
is produced.
Due to the nature of art and project design, Sarah works very
closely with her clients to keep them updated and informed. Should
additional time be needed to complete the project, Sarah will advise
the client before hand and discuss the various options with the
client.
In the event that the project is used in other form not
previously agreed upon in the letter of understanding (i.e.,
publications, websites, or other advertising methods) without prior
written permission, additional compensation may be required.
Payment is expected and due upon receipt of the finished project.
Due to the nature of paper and other artistic materials, the work is
guaranteed to be in presentable and usable condition for 1 year.
Sarah is not responsible for work that is damaged by others during
normal use (i.e., samples and display boards that are mishandled by
customers during conventions or in store displays)
Sarah adheres to the highest ethical standards. All projects and
discussions regarding them are held in the strictest of confidence.
See Privacy
Statement for more
details.
In addition, Sarah is available to do demonstrations at Trade Shows, Conventions and Retreats. She is actively pursuing licensing
opportunities, and is interested in product development and kit
creations.
