Affiliations and networks are important in so many
ways. Instructors need them to stay current on the latest
products and emerging trends as a way to better equip and
serve the students they teach. Artists rely on them to enhance the
journey they take in their professional career and affords
them the opportunity to "talk shop" with others and share
experiences and new ideas in a neutral setting. Designers need
them in order to give a higher quality of service
to their clients by offering opportunities for greater exposure
for the various product lines they have been hired to
represent.
In addition to the nationally
recognized associations, Sarah is very well connected in a number of
online communities, industry focus groups and instructor support
groups. Her commitment to personal development and continuing
education speaks highly of her participation in the industry and
dedication to her clients.

Sarah was very grateful for the opportunity to be
certified in inks and embossing powders by Ranger in September of
2005. With her certification brings a level of expertise to her
classrooms and demonstrations that very few people can say they
have. She is delighted to share what she has learned to equip
students and store owners alike to enhance their own crafting
journey.
Although Sarah is involved with a variety of online
communities, two that are particularly important to her and are more
akin to extended family than professional associations are the Holy
Moly Mackeroly and Artists of the Round Table groups. Both have been
a source of inspiration and laughter and have been pivotal in
Sarah's career as a professional artist. She is indebted to these
two groups of absolutely wonderful
people. |
